In Greek mythology, Gaea (also named Gaia or Gea) is the goddess who represents the Earth. She is the mother of all other gods representing the natural elements and the symbol of nature. We, therefore, chose the name GeaPack to communicate our commitment to providing sustainable, environmentally-conscious packaging.

The amount of packaging that is not recycled and is discarded into the environment is unfortunately still very significant and causes enormous harm. The use of recyclable but polluting packaging is insufficiently “green”. Packaging should be biodegradable at a minimum and, if at all possible, also compostable, so as to have as little impact on the environment as possible.
